Production Lead - Night Shift

Responsibilities Include: 
  • Responsible for overseeing the employees, training of new employees, and ensuring that the department meets the standards set on each product
  • Prepares work schedules, assigns work and oversees quality
  • Responsible for the correct counts of finished products going out, checking the calculations on machine times
  • Responsible for ensuring that all lines have their raw materials, cartons, paper and poly packaging as needed for the line operators
  • Recognize and report any material/product defects through Quality inspections
  • Responsible for daily attendance reporting for the Department
Education/Experience: 
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2-3 years of production experience required
Special Skills/Abilities/Knowledge: 
  • Mathematical skills required-ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, fractions, and decimals
  • Basic Excel skills required
  • Good organizational skills
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
