AISD Home of the 4-Day Instructional Week
Beginning in 2021, AISD implemented a 4-day school week for children, teachers and staff. The primary reason for this big change was to help recruit the very best teachers. Children still spend the required amount of time learning in the classrooms. The academic calendar has been extended some, with school running from mid-August to the end of May.
